  GRANULAR ACTIVATED CARBON
Granular activated carbon are produced as irregularly shaped particles that can be used in both liquid-phase and gas-phase applications.

We produce this product the following mesh sizes: 4x8, 6x12 and 12x30 .

Some of the advantages of using granular activated carbon over powdered activated carbon are: its ease in handling and efficiency in the purifying large volumes of gases or liquids.

Granular activated carbon is harder and therefore, longer-lasting than powdered activated carbon. It can also be reactivated and re-used.

POWDERED ACTIVATED CARBON
Powdered activated carbons are typically used for liquid-phase adsorption where they are usually added directly to the liquid to be purified then removed by sedimentation and filtration after adsorption.

The advantages of using powdered activated carbon are their lower processing cost and their flexibility in operation.
